Nature Republic in Chinatown!
I know I haven't posted anything in ages and I'm super sorry, but college apps! Anyways, recently a nature republic opened in Chinatown. I haven't been there yet but my friends told me a bit about it. I think it's on canal and center? I'm bad with addresses and stuff... It's smaller than the one in flashing however. But, they're giving away exo posters! And I think they give you a mask with every purchase. Go check it out!

The Fragrance Shop
If you like perfumes, this is a must go when in New York City. Although it's a bit expensive, it's worth the price because you get to make your own customized perfume! A scent that only you will have. And, you can create your own name for it. There are also ready made scents that you can choose from.
The place is a bit a bit small, so it's not good for large groups. But, they do carry a lot of body care items like soaps, bath oils, lotions. They also carry incense and essential oils.
I got a .25 ounce rollerball for about $47 which is quite expensive but part of the cost was the amount you have to pay to have Lolita, the store owner, help you create your own unique perfume. I blurred out the name of my perfume.
She even wrapped it up so nicely.
Starbucks Passion Tea With Raspberry Syrup
This is one my favorite drinks from Starbucks. About 90% of the time, I get this. It's partially because it's kinda cheap for Starbucks ($2.99 for a venti) and also because it's really refreshing, especially on hot summer days. I really recommend trying it.
But, I almost never get it with lemonade because it gets more expensive and depending on the barista, it can be a bit too sour. But, that's just my opinion. Maybe other people would like it sour.

The Face Shop Pore Care Pack Wash Off Mask
I first tried this as a sample from Face Shop and I loved it so I decided to buy it even though I thought it was a bit expensive ($17). But, I thought about it and the sample had 5ml and this has 110ml which meant at least 22 uses. Which would mean less than $1 per use. And, The Face Shop's sheet masks costs $2 per use so I realized it wasn't a bad deal.
I haven't used it too often so I can't say anything about its effect on my pores. Although I do think my pores are cleaner. What I liked is that it made my skin super soft. Even when I washed off the excess from my fingers, my fingers were super soft. And, my acne has become a bit better. And, it's supposed to help control sebum production, but my face is still quite oily. It's also a pain to take off.
Pros:
- Makes skin soft
- Acne is better
Cons:
- Doesn't control oil like it says
- Perhaps a bit expensive
- Takes a while to take off
Rating: 4/5
Would I repurchase: Maybe. I want to try other masks as well.
Nature Republic Argan Hair Pack
I bought this for $8.60 and it lasts for about 2 months. And, I used it quite often. I would use this instead of my conditioner every third day. Also, I have fairly long hair. It's almost at my waist.
I'm not sure if you can see it, but this has the directions and ingredients.
How I use it:
1. Shampoo
2. Put a generous amount on and massage it into hair and scalp
3. Let it sit for about 5 minutes
4. Rinse hair
I'm almost done with this jar actually. It's kind of thick (sort of like peanut butter, maybe a bit softer). So your hair has to be properly wet to work it in. I really like it because it actually works. After I use it, my hair feels way softer and not as frizzy as usual. However, if I don't use it for a while, my ends start frizzing up again. But, my roots and the hair that grew in during the time I used this remain soft which I was really surprised to see. And, the smell isn't too strong. I like it even though I generally have a sensitive nose.
The only problem I have is the packaging. Since I use it in the shower, water always manages to drip in and I worry that it won't work as well. I don't worry as much about bacteria and germs growing in it because I apply it to my hair and not my face and I can wash it off. Also. They trick you into thinking there's more than there really is by making the bottom rounded.
Pros:
- It works!
- Smell isn't strong
- Cheap considering how long you can use it for
Cons:
- The packaging
Rating: 4.5/5
Would I repurchase: Already did! But, yes. If I run out again, I will definitely repurchase.

The Body Shop Haul
I had a friend order this online during their Memorial Day sale. I kept putting off the post until now though. All the prices listed are after the sale.
Everything I ordered.
Peach Orchard body scrub. I think it was $12.
Body mists in Moringa and Vanilla. These were $6 each.
Wild Rose Hand Cream. It's supposed to be for "mature skin", but I like the smell of roses so I bought it anyways. This was $12.
Tea tree oil. It's supposed help with acne and blemishes. It was $5.70.

The Face shop Haul
I'm really sorry for posting every couple of weeks. And, only posting hauls. But, since I post hauls, you know what I have and you can tell me what you want review on! Anyways, I ventured to Chinatown on Monday and bought some stuff.
Promotions (only at Chinatown location):
- They gave me a coupon for $5 off the next time I went to the Chinatown Face Shop and spent $5.
- If you're graduating this year, you can show them your student ID and get a 15% discount.
Everything I got.
Lovely Me:Ex stick eyeliner in 01 white. I can't recall the exact price, but it was less than $10, more than $5.
Clean Face acne solution concealer. It was $10.
Lovely Me:Ex Eyeliner in 03 White. I can't remember the price of this one too (why did I throw out the receipt?!), but it was a bit less than $10? Maybe $9.
I think this is a new collection because I haven't seen it before, but they're yogurt nails. They seemed kinda cute so I bought the yellow and purple. They were $4 each.
Lovely Me:Ex petit angle highlighter/blusher. I'm gonna use it as a highlighter and maybe for eyeshadow. It was $18; a bit pricey for their line specially made for teens.
The samples! The glorious samples! I miss samples so much. Nature Republic rarely gives samples and when they do, it's not a lot. And, I feel that the Chinatown Face Shop lady was a lot more generous with the samples compared to the Flushing one. Even though the Flushing Face Shop recognizes me.... I got a Baby Face Wash Off Mask, Raspberry Roots Eye Depuffing Cream(2), Clean Face Acne Foam Cleansing(2), a Chia Seed Moisturizer, and soap. Yes, you read right. They gave me a slice of soap. First time that has ever happened...

Nature Republic Haul!
I went to Nature Republic again! I'm not sure if it was a wise decision or not because I spent money again... Perhaps I should refrain myself from buying things, and this way, I can save money and actually write some reviews.
It's an apple scented hand lotion and, it's the cutest thing ever! It's super tiny and portable and I really like it! But, it was kinda expensive for a 30ml lotion; it was $5.
I was actually running out of my Face Shop Natural Sun AQ Super White Sun Cream [Whitening], so I got this. And, this was half the price of the Face Shop one with the same properties (whitening, SPF 50+). I got 50ml for $9.90.
This was actually the reason why I ventured into Nature Republic. I wanted a powder pact because my T-zone gets super oily sometimes and I wanted something to help mattify my face. I hope it works well! This was $16.10 for 11g.

The Face Shop and Nature Republic Haul
On Saturday, I went with my friends to The Face Shop and Nature Republic. The Face Shop was having 20% or 50% off on select items for Mother's Day. But, most of the items on sale weren't that great. Mainly things that usually don't sell too well. Oh well, a sale's a sale!
The Face Shop stuff!
Hand & Body Shiffon (chiffon?) Cream in Gold Kiwi.
It smells amazing and it helped with my dry legs. Also, it was fairly cheap, only $6 for 100ml.
Lovely ME:EX Real Lip Care in 02 Milk. This was one of the things on sale, it was $9 originally, I got it for $4.50. And, since it was on sale, why not?
Aromatherapy Peppermint
This was also on sale, it was originally $14 and I got it for $7. Apparently it's good for soothing nerves and good hair growth so I just picked it up.
Face it All About Easy Liner
This was in the buy one get one free section and my friend wanted one so I got it so we could have it at half price. It was originally $11, I got it for $5.50. And, It'll be fun to play with! Even though I don't wear eyeliner....
Samples: Aloe Fresh Gel Cream (2)
Arsainte Eco-Therapy Toner and Moisturizer
Nature Republic Stuff!
School Diary Roll Oil Paper
It was $7 and I thought it was cool because instead of a single pre-cut sheet, you can decide how much you need. And it's in a convenient tube!
Argan Hair Pack Nutrition Supply
This was $8.60 and I have frizzy hair which was made worse from the rainy days. So, I thought that this would be perfect.
Flower Lip Concealer
I've wanted a lip concealer for ages! And, it was only $6.80 so I decided to try it.
I'll do reviews soon. But, I'm still unsure as to what products to review. So, if you have any product you want to know more about, please comment below! Thank you! :)

First Nature Republic Haul!
Recently, a Nature Republic store opened in Flushing! Yay! :D I was super excited to go because right around the time I heard about the new store, I REALLY wanted to try the aloe soothing gel. There are so many awesome reviews on it that I felt that I just had to get it. But, I had to wait an entire week because I don't live anywhere near Flushing. :( But, I finally went on Saturday and bought A LOT of stuff. My poor wallet!
The things I bought.
The Masks:
They were all priced at $1.40. Pretty cheap! And, each mask has 23 ml in it.
I got their "Given By Nature" masks in Rose Hip, Green Tea, Black Bean, and Chestnut Shell.
Rose Hip: Makes your skin firm and smooth
Green Tea: Makes your skin healthy and radiant
Black Bean: Adjusts skin texture and creates radiant skin
Chestnut Shell: Tightens pores and creates smooth skin texture
The amazing aloe vera soothing gel! The store was actually having a promotion at the time where you could buy 3 and get 1 free. Since I went with 3 other friends, we each got one. And, it costed ~$4 per person after the promotion. Regularly, it sells for $5.50, which isn't that bad for 300 ml of it.
They were also having a promotion on their CC cream. I believe it was half off? But, I got it for $18.80. It's kinda expensive, but CC creams are all expensive. They also had 2 other ones, tinted and brightening.
This is the Natural Vitamin Facial Mist Vitamin A. I got the smaller one which is 50 ml for $6.40 because I wanted something that was travel sized and I could just throw into my bag. They have a bigger one that is 150 ml and that was around $11. I know, mine's is a rip-off, but it's more convenient.
I got the Bulgarian Rose Moisture Essence because who doesn't like the smell of roses? I got it for no other reason than the fact it smelled good, honestly. It costs $7 for 35 ml. They also have a moisture toner and moisture emulsion.
I saw this and thought "hey wouldn't that be fun to play around with?" Also, I have a morbid fear of blades, so i don't shave. If this works well, I'll have some other method of removing hair! And, I think the ingredients are better than Nair or some other hair removal product. I got this for $8.40 for 70 ml and a sponge you use to help with the removal.
This was another impulse buy.... I need to control myself. But, it's a breath spray! Like the ones I would always see in those TV shows and movies! I couldn't help but get it! And, it was $5 for 6.5 ml which isn't too expensive.
This thing is PERFECT! It's an all in one cream and you can use this instead of toner, emulsion, and cream. It's specially created for teenage girls (like me) who are really busy so they can just put this on in the mornings. It costs $11.30 for 70 ml.
I was about to not get this because I thought "well, I already got the aloe soothing gel, what's the point of getting this too?" But, it was only $6.30 for 150 ml. So, I just bought it.
The samples they gave me:
Collagen Dream Mask Sheet 20 ml (2)
Super Origin CC Cream Oil Blotting Sheets-50 sheets (2)
