Huge end of year haul!

Did a whole bunch of shopping during winter break! I couldn't resist because they were having winter sales and they gave a calendar after spending a certain amount of money. :P
The Face Shop- after spending $75, Suzy calendar
Nature Republic- after spending $80, EXO calendar. They also had posters, folders and individual member cutouts.
Needless to say, I got both calendars...
Also, a new Korean cosmetics store opened in Flushing called Club Clio. I wanted to get so many things, but I didn't bring enough money that day so next time!

The Face Shop:
3 Herb Day Cleansing Foams in aloe, lemon, and acerola. These were 100ml each rather than the usual 150ml because they came in a set for $15.
Facial Mist in Jeju orange- $8 for 70ml
Nature Garden Cleansing Bar in Softening Grape- $6
Rice Water Bright Lip&Eye Remover- 120ml for $12
Herb Day Lip&Eye Makeup Remover Pads- 30 sheets for $5 [REPURCHASE]
Lovely ME:EX Volume My Lips in 01 Star Shine- $6
Hand & Body Shiffon Cream in Gold Kiwi- 100ml for $6 [REPURCHASE]

The Vita masks were the only things purchased at the Flushing Face Shop. Everything else was purchased at the Chinatown Face Shop. The reason why is because Chinatown's was selling them at $5 each while it was $3 each at Flushing and Ktown. So I got 11 for $30 because of their buy 10 masks get 1 free. I got some of each. I decided to get these because they're gel masks (which is my new obsession) and they were only $3 each.
Baby Face Hyaluronic Acid Gel Mask- $6
Cherry Cherry Modeling Gel Patch- $5

The Face Shop samples I got

Nature Republic:
The SA didn't give me a receipt so the prices listed may not be accurate.
Natural Drop Facial Mist in Angel's Tears- 50ml for ~$12
Natural Olive Multi Essence- 150 ml for ~$12
Super Origin Complete Control Cream CC Cream in #3 Brightening SPF 25 PA++- 45g for $15
Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 70% BB Cream- 40ml for $10-$20
Provence Blending Glow- 40ml for ~$13
Hand & Nature Hand Cream in Wild Cherry, Peach, Shea Butter, Green Tea, Lilac, and Rose Butter- $26.60. Usually $6.60 each but they were having a special.
Botanical Pure Pact SPF 35 PA++- 10g for ~$15

Snaytox Ex Mask Sheet made with SNAKE VENOM 20ml each- 10 for $8.90
Given By Nature Green Tea Mask Sheet 23 ml- $1.40 each
Super Aqua Max Deep Moisture Hydrogel Mask Sheet 25ml- can't recall the price ~$3-5

Club Clio:
The Cure Collagen Essence Mask in Aloe, Tea Trea and Cucumber 23g- 12 for $10 due to the special promotion
Peripera Finger Tap Tap Eyeshadow in BR002 Morden Cocoa and BE002 Pure- $6 each. I think the packaging is adorable. And it's quite pigmented.

These are the Nature Republic and Club Clio samples

Target:
I adore the Target travel sized section. There's always a whole bunch of things that around $1 and fun to test out. Also, I recently discovered NYX products and I want to get more of the jumbo eyeshadow pencils but the Targets I've gone to don't have a great color variety so I only got one in strawberry milk.

Nature Republic in Chinatown!

I know I haven't posted anything in ages and I'm super sorry, but college apps! Anyways, recently a nature republic opened in Chinatown. I haven't been there yet but my friends told me a bit about it. I think it's on canal and center? I'm bad with addresses and stuff... It's smaller than the one in flashing however. But, they're giving away exo posters! And I think they give you a mask with every purchase. Go check it out!

The Fragrance Shop

If you like perfumes, this is a must go when in New York City. Although it's a bit expensive, it's worth the price because you get to make your own customized perfume! A scent that only you will have. And, you can create your own name for it. There are also ready made scents that you can choose from.

The place is a bit a bit small, so it's not good for large groups. But, they do carry a lot of body care items like soaps, bath oils, lotions. They also carry incense and essential oils.

I got a .25 ounce rollerball for about $47 which is quite expensive but part of the cost was the amount you have to pay to have Lolita, the store owner, help you create your own unique perfume. I blurred out the name of my perfume.

She even wrapped it up so nicely.

Starbucks Passion Tea With Raspberry Syrup

This is one my favorite drinks from Starbucks. About 90% of the time, I get this. It's partially because it's kinda cheap for Starbucks ($2.99 for a venti) and also because it's really refreshing, especially on hot summer days. I really recommend trying it.

But, I almost never get it with lemonade because it gets more expensive and depending on the barista, it can be a bit too sour. But, that's just my opinion. Maybe other people would like it sour.

The Face Shop Pore Care Pack Wash Off Mask

I first tried this as a sample from Face Shop and I loved it so I decided to buy it even though I thought it was a bit expensive ($17). But, I thought about it and the sample had 5ml and this has 110ml which meant at least 22 uses. Which would mean less than $1 per use. And, The Face Shop's sheet masks costs $2 per use so I realized it wasn't a bad deal.

I haven't used it too often so I can't say anything about its effect on my pores. Although I do think my pores are cleaner. What I liked is that it made my skin super soft. Even when I washed off the excess from my fingers, my fingers were super soft. And, my acne has become a bit better. And, it's supposed to help control sebum production, but my face is still quite oily. It's also a pain to take off.

Pros:
- Makes skin soft
- Acne is better

Cons:
- Doesn't control oil like it says
- Perhaps a bit expensive
- Takes a while to take off

Rating: 4/5
Would I repurchase: Maybe. I want to try other masks as well.

Nature Republic Argan Hair Pack

I bought this for $8.60 and it lasts for about 2 months. And, I used it quite often. I would use this instead of my conditioner every third day. Also, I have fairly long hair. It's almost at my waist.

I'm not sure if you can see it, but this has the directions and ingredients.
How I use it:
1. Shampoo
2. Put a generous amount on and massage it into hair and scalp
3. Let it sit for about 5 minutes
4. Rinse hair

I'm almost done with this jar actually. It's kind of thick (sort of like peanut butter, maybe a bit softer). So your hair has to be properly wet to work it in. I really like it because it actually works. After I use it, my hair feels way softer and not as frizzy as usual. However, if I don't use it for a while, my ends start frizzing up again. But, my roots and the hair that grew in during the time I used this remain soft which I was really surprised to see. And, the smell isn't too strong. I like it even though I generally have a sensitive nose.

The only problem I have is the packaging. Since I use it in the shower, water always manages to drip in and I worry that it won't work as well. I don't worry as much about bacteria and germs growing in it because I apply it to my hair and not my face and I can wash it off. Also. They trick you into thinking there's more than there really is by making the bottom rounded.

Pros:
- It works!
- Smell isn't strong
- Cheap considering how long you can use it for

Cons:
- The packaging

Rating: 4.5/5
Would I repurchase: Already did! But, yes. If I run out again, I will definitely repurchase.

The Body Shop Haul

I had a friend order this online during their Memorial Day sale. I kept putting off the post until now though. All the prices listed are after the sale.

Everything I ordered.

Peach Orchard body scrub. I think it was $12.

Body mists in Moringa and Vanilla. These were $6 each.

Wild Rose Hand Cream. It's supposed to be for "mature skin", but I like the smell of roses so I bought it anyways. This was $12.

Tea tree oil. It's supposed help with acne and blemishes. It was $5.70.
